Invitation to Join GAHE’s New Toastmaster’s Club
Do you want to practice public speaking, improve your communication, and build leadership skills? GAHE has established a virtual Toastmasters club and GAHE members and non-members are invited to be a part of our new virtual club.
GAHE Toastmasters club meetings are held every other Friday from noon to 1:00 PM via Zoom.
How to Sign Up for the Club
Toastmasters membership dues are $45 for 6 months, and there is a one-time new member fee of $20. Please follow the instructions below to sign up for the club:
- Download and complete the fillable membership application.
- Send completed applications and payment to brucealloyd@gmail.com
- If you would prefer to submit payment electronically, click here.
- Or mail your application with payment (credit card or check payable to Toastmasters International) to Bruce Lloyd, Executive Director, Georgia Association of Healthcare Executives, 4801 Wildercliff, Powder Springs GA, 30127

My Toastmasters Experience
Early in my career in healthcare, I was starting to get speaking requests and I wondered how I could increase my public speaking skills. Someone suggested that I join Toastmasters and I found the Sandy Springs chapter. The chapter was a mixture of amateurs like me and accomplished Toastmasters who were trying to keep their skills up and mentor us newbies. The development of my speaking skills led me to national speaking engagements and continuous presentations at ACHE Congress for 37 years.
Being in a helpful, friendly, and supportive environment can help even the shyest and most introverted person develop oratorical skills that will help further their career. I encourage you to join our efforts at GAHE to give you the support you need to further your career.
