ACHE of Georgia members – Let’s give back to our neighborhoods while getting to meet your fellow Georgia ACHE members in an informal setting, and fulfill community involvement requirements for Fellowship.

Join us to work with Atlanta Community Food Bank at their Product Rescue Center. ACFB works to end hunger with the food, people and big ideas needed to ensure our neighbors have the nourishment to lead healthy and productive lives. ACHE of Georgia volunteers will be serving in the Product Rescue Center where we will inspect, sort, and pack quality grocery donations to prepare for distribution to over 600 partner agencies across Georgia.  Learn more about ACFB at www.acfb.org .

• PARKING: Upon arrival into the main entrance (look for the big high sign with our orange peach logo), the parking lot will be to your left (on slight hill). After exiting your vehicle, look left for the fence covered walkway (affectionately known as “the cage”) with the Product Rescue Center Volunteers sign. Follow the fenced walkway to the PRC door.
• Dress Code: CLOSED-TOE AND CLOSED-HEEL SHOES ARE REQUIRED, with sneakers or work boots recommended. Flips flops, sandals or heeled shoes are not allowed. Please wear comfortable clothing you do not mind getting a bit rumpled.
• Food donations requested: A couple of nonperishable food items are greatly appreciated if you are able to bring with you. View their list of most needed food items HERE.
• Family and friends may register (children age 8 or older and must be accompanied by an parent or guardian).
