ACHE of Georgia August Event Update:
The 50-person cap for our August 20 virtual program, which ACHE has approved for 1.5 hours of F2F credits, has been reached. Registration for the live program  is now closed. 

The August 20 event will also be available as a recording approximately one week after the live date, and it offers 1.5 Qualified Hours that can be self-reported. Please see below for registration options and costs.

Telemedicine has become a healthcare access imperative, especially in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. Its innovative benefits are of vital interest amid the implementation of most healthcare regulations. Telemedicine uses a variety of forms of electronic communication technology to provide a convenient method to deliver healthcare services and education.

This program surveys telemedicine’s current uses and its organizational deployment. The discussion includes adoption and innovation across clinical and patient perspectives.

Technical, operational, regulatory, and financial/reimbursement aspects of the development of telemedicine programs will be investigated. The expanding role that telemedicine holds in daily medicine and its direction into the future of the healthcare delivery system also will be explored.
