Toastmasters Introductory Meeting for ACHE of Georgia Members

August 10, Noon to 1:00 PM
Free Zoom Meeting
1 Hour of Qualified Credit

Do you want to practice public speaking, improve your communication, and build leadership skills? ACHE of Georgia is developing a virtual Toastmasters club for our members and is offering a free demonstration meeting on August 10 at noon so that you can learn all about the benefits of Toastmasters and see how a typical meeting runs.

Join this free webinar to explore how Toastmasters can help you advance your career in healthcare. One of the goals of the session will be to determine members’ interest in developing a virtual Toastmasters club for ACHE of Georgia. Meetings are typically held at least twice a month and last one hour. In order to establish a virtual Toastmasters club for ACHE of Georgia, we need at least 20 members to sign up with Toastmasters and become charter club members.

Membership in Toastmasters is required to participate in the ACHE of Georgia club and dues will be collected through Toastmasters. To learn more about Toastmasters, click here.

Join us on August 10  for a free webinar on the benefits of Toastmasters. And earn 1 hour of ACHE Qualified Education credit.

 My Toastmasters Experience

Larry Tyler“Early in my career in healthcare, I was starting to get speaking requests and I wondered how I could increase my public speaking skills. Someone suggested that I join Toastmasters and I found the Sandy Springs chapter. The chapter was a mixture of amateurs like me and accomplished Toastmasters who were trying to keep their skills up and mentor us newbies. The development of my speaking skills led me to national speaking engagements and continuous presentations at ACHE Congress for 37 years.

Being in a helpful, friendly, and supportive environment can help even the shyest and most introverted person develop oratorical skills that will help further their career. I encourage you to join our efforts at ACHE of Georgia to give you the support you need to further your career.”
